Who are we?
We are a team of social scientists, engineers and medical professionals, working together to bring the innovative WASH services to the people at last miles.
What do we do?
We take informed actions to strengthen the systems. Data and information enable us to design services which are aspirational and inclusive. While these are beneficial to the families, at scale we see a potential contribute to social equity
Why do we do?
We believe some of the social inequities can be addressed by informing people, encouraging participations and influencing actions. These are life changing experience for many.

Equity, in a simple way, can be understood as "fairness". This can assume multiple forms in the societal context. Be it access to safe water, livelihood opportunities or health services- we see the sections of society still struggle to find a meaningful way to live. It is not just a question affordability or inability of the government agencies to deliver these to who need it most. This where the roles of people with experience come. Designing simple solutions, providing information or even coming forward with support can make differences in the lives of millions.
This why EquigateSocial has been conceptualized. My professional journey of over past two decades has been a period of learning. I wish to share my experience here.
